The following safety guidelines should be taken into account before using our products: Our products contain plant-derived oils from natural tree nuts, seeds, and fruit. If you have any allergies please be sure to inspect our product label for the most up-to-date ingredients list. We recommend that people with sensitive skin perform a patch test first to ensure there is no reaction. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Our products are made with naturally derived ingredients, which in rare cases may cause sensitivity in certain individuals. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use immediately. We make no claim to cure or prevent any disease or medical problem. All products are for external use only.

1. Why Mothersgold SheaButter?
Our unrefined shea butter are great for replenishing and locking moisture in dry skin. You can use Mothersgold SheaButter on your body to moisturize the skin. Shea Butter, also known as karite butter. Is a cream-colored fatty substance made from the nut of karite nut trees (also called Mangifolia trees) that grow in the savannah regions of West Central Africa. They grow only in the wild and can take up to 50 years to mature and live up to 300 years.
2. What is the difference between lotions and butters?
Lotions are water based and must be emulsified to join oil and water together. Also, preservatives are needed when making products containing water. Mothersgold Shea Butter are made from all natural ingredients and do not need preservatives and have shelf lives of 1-3 years.
3. How do I use Mothersgold Shea Butter?
Honestly, a little goes a long way. Everyone is different and it depends on the person's skin type. Some people absolutely love slathering themselves in Mothergold SheaButter from head to toe, especially during cold, brutal winter months. When you receive Mothersgold Shea Butter, take a fingertip full and rub on hands, arms, or feet. You'll get the feel for how much or how little you actually need. Mothersgold Shea Butter is especially awesome just after a bath or shower when skin is damp.
4. How long will Mothersgold Shea Butter last when I apply it?
Your skin will immediately drink up the butter, especially during winter months. Some clients tell me they can apply in the morning and be good to go the entire day, while others may need to apply twice a day. Once again, it depends on various skin types.
5. When will my order ship?
Please allow 4-7 BUSINESS DAYS of processing time (excluding weekends & holidays). 6. International shipping, duties and taxes outside of North America?
We offer worldwide shipping. However, we don’t have control or oversight into the potential duties and/or taxes that your respective country can charge. Unfortunately, customers pay must pay duties/taxes within their country. We would love to find a better way to ship internationally one day.
7. What is the difference between Shipping vs. Processing?
Processing is the time it takes for your order to be PROCESSED (made). Orders take *4-7 business days to process. Shipping is how long it takes your order to be physically delivered to you.
8. What happens if my Mothersgold SheaButter melts during transit?
When you receive, simply allow it to resolidify at room temperature (away from the sun/windows) to solidify or put in the fridge for an hour or so. A little melting does not take from the nutrients of your product.
9. What happens if my order is loss or damage during shipment?
No matter how carefully a package is handled, there are occasions when a package may be lost or the contents damaged during international shipment. Fortunately this doesn't happen very often. If your package is lost or damaged in USA or international shipping, you will need to submit a claim within 14 days of the date of delivery, or within 14 days of the date you received confirmation that it was lost. 10. How do I get in contact with you about my order?
Feel free to email us regarding your order, please be sure to include the following; the order name, number, and concern/question. If you have a discrepancy with your order, be sure to include; order name, number, detailed description of your issue/ concern, along with photos, no later than 48 hours after receiving your order. Any other form of communication other than our direct email, such as via social media regarding your order is not acceptable.
